Naturally Dyed Organic Cotton Double Gauze
Naomi is our softly grounded double gauze—named for the biblical figure whose name means pleasantness. It speaks to warmth, comfort, and a life shaped by care and relationship. Where Selah invites a pause, Naomi embodies what comes after: closeness, gentleness, and belonging.
Woven from two fine layers of GOTS-certified organic cotton, lightly joined with nearly invisible stitches, Naomi Double Gauze is airy, breathable, and exceptionally soft against the skin. Its naturally crinkled texture gives it a relaxed, lived-in character—meant to be worn easily, washed often, and loved well.

Each shade is built in layers, giving depth, movement, and subtle variation to the cloth:

Blush of Ruth (Cochineal Pink) — a tender red-pink, softly luminous and skin-close

Naomi Double Gauze is lightweight and airy without being sheer. The two softly joined layers create gentle body and coverage while remaining breathable and comfortable against the skin. Its weight makes it especially well suited for garments, baby items, and textiles meant to feel light, soft, and easy to wear year-round.
Comfort & Wear
Double gauze is created by weaving two thin cotton layers together, forming small pockets of air between them. This structure gives Naomi its signature softness and breathability while remaining sturdy enough for daily use.
The hand is smooth and cozy rather than crisp, with a gentle drape that moves easily with the body. Naomi feels light without being sheer and offers warmth without weight.
Care
Pre-washing before sewing is recommended.
Wash gently in cool to warm water with a mild detergent. Because double gauze is delicate and finely woven, avoid spin-drying or tumble-drying. Line dry or lay flat to preserve the fabric’s softness and structure.
The natural crinkle is part of Naomi’s character and does not require ironing. Over time, the fabric will continue to soften, becoming even more comfortable with wear and washing.
