The Intermediate Sewing Course is designed for those who are comfortable with the basics and ready to deepen their skills, refine their technique, and sew with greater confidence and intention.
This session builds on foundational knowledge and focuses on accuracy, fit, and finishing. You’ll work through more advanced techniques at a thoughtful pace, with clear demonstrations and individual guidance throughout the day. As always, questions are encouraged, and demonstrations are repeated as often as needed in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.
During the class, you’ll complete a carefully chosen project that introduces intermediate-level construction methods while reinforcing good habits around pressing, precision, and planning. You’ll receive detailed, step-by-step handouts to take home, allowing you to revisit techniques and continue practicing with confidence after the session.
All materials for the project are provided. We encourage you to bring your own sewing machine so you can become more fluent with the machine you use at home. If you don’t have a machine, a limited number are available to borrow—please let us know when booking.
