Murdock Farm

Welcome to Our Indigo and Natural Dye Flower Farm

(with a few fruit trees, berries, olives and other sweet things too)

Tucked beneath the whispering pines and wide oaks of North Central Florida.

Set on a serene stretch of land where hot summers bring blooms to life and mild winters offer quiet renewal, our family-run indigo and natural dye flower farm is a haven of color and calm.

Here, we grow heritage indigo and vibrant dye flowers using mindful, earth-honoring practices. Every petal, leaf, and stem is nurtured by hand and harvested with care — destined to bring natural color into the world through slow, intentional dyeing.

Intentional Visits

Plan a slow day of pruning, dyeing, or simply watching the light change with a glass of wine.

Come for one visit, return again and again

One visit will never be enough to take in all of the magic of this small farm. Want to prune a leaf, we've got you. Want to sit and watch it all with a glass of wine, we have that too.

From Farm to Fabric

What We Grow & Make

Everything begins in the soil. Our dye flowers and indigo are nurtured by hand, then transformed into textiles, garments, and learning experiences.

Our Philosophy

Rooted in the Land

We believe the most beautiful color comes from the most intentional care. Every step of our process honors the relationship between maker and earth.

Regenerative Growing

We cultivate dye plants using earth-honoring, regenerative agricultural practices.

Hand-Harvested

Every stem and leaf is picked by hand at peak pigment for the richest, most vibrant dyes.

Zero-Waste Process

Spent dye material returns to compost, feeding the same soil that grew it.

Seed to Stitch

From planting the seed to stitching the final garment — every step happens here.
